2ND SUNDAY DAY OF PLAY
Activities have included: Bike Rodeo, Pedal Tractor Pull, 4-H Down on
the Farm, Petting Zoo, Nature Trail, Walking Trail, and Pumpkin
Decorating.
What is Second Sunday?
2nd Sunday includes monthly events in Lexington and an annual statewide event that encourages all forms of physical activity within the local community and is designed to get Kentuckians moving.
"For too long, Kentucky has been labeled as one of the unhealthiest states in the country, but now, 2nd Sunday provides the state with an opportunity to become a national model for physical activity by implementing simple, low-cost measures to improve the health of its citizens."

2nd Sunday was held on October 9th, 2011 with over 500 in attendance! Events included a Bike Rodeo, Pumpkin Painting, 4-H Petting Zoo, School Challenge, and much more! Thanks to all who help to make 2nd Sunday a success once again
